Information: I have only been into Aquatic Art for two years. This is the first big tank I have created. I look at Aquatic Art as a painter with canvas. I tried to create a scene that would catch your eye and hold your attention. Just as an artist would hold you in deep thought as you ponder at a painting, I wanted to hold your thoughts for a moment in time as your eyes are guided across an aquascape, holding your thoughts as you are guided from side to side. Watching to see a Clown Loach peek out from a rock cave covered in Java Ferns. Or maybe a Krib comes out from his home under a group of Didiplis diandra by a piece of driftwood. Your eye wonders along a line of short Hygrophila polysperma as the leaves are bouncing. Upon closer look you see a school of Cory cats moving through.
As moments in time turns into hours, you watch a ramshorn snail fall from the top leaves of a Hydrocotyle verticillata only to be lost as he falls into a large Echinodorus barthii, just to start his trip to the top all over again. You feel you're watching a cycle of life caught in a snapshot in time. For that moment you're in a state of calm in a place called tranquility. That is the goal of all my Aquatic Art, to give peace of mind in a moment in time.
