This tank was set up in September 2003. It has had the best startup I ever. From day one this tank has been growing plants. It was the first time I tried Eco-Complete. I like it so much its the substrate I use in all my plant tanks now.

At day one I setup 220w CF 9325K All Glass lighting. The only change I made to these lights was changing the reflectors in the front fixture to promote better light penetration for foreground plants.

I use two Fluval 304 canister filters. On the out flow of one I use a Aqua Medic 1000 CO2 reactor to mix CO2 from a 20# pressure tank.
